Daniel Najafali
Daniel Najafali is a recent bioengineering graduate from the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. He served as a guided study sessions leader for introductory organic chemistry and has tutored students in physics. During his studies, Daniel has been a member in many research labs ranging from topics in tissue engineering, drug delivery, and cancer therapy. He has been published in the Journal of Nanobiotechnology, the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, and the Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology, amongst others. He is currently a volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association where he leads lessons with patients and family members to help them navigate the challenging diagnosis. Daniel aims to help each student by working from first principles and breaking down concepts so they are easily digestible. He looks forward to helping students achieve their short and long-term goals.
