Megan Najafali
Megan is a recent graduate from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she received her Master of Health Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. While studying biology as an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park, Megan volunteered with Maryland Mentor Corps, mentoring elementary school students in after-school programs. During her senior year, she worked as a peer mentor in the College of Computer, Math, and Natural Sciences and helped students customize academic plans and set career goals. She also served as a teaching assistant for an introductory-level course that focused on connecting students to campus resources and ensuring their transition to the university was as smooth as possible. Megan’s goal is to instill confidence in her students so that they are able to reach their full academic potential. Currently, she is applying to medical school and is excited to support students in their academic and professional careers.
