Darya Stenko

Darya Stenko is an Astronomy undergraduate student at the University of Maryland. Her science background has provided her with excellent mathematics, analysis, and communication skills that can be implemented on a day-to-day basis. Since she is only just beginning my journey to becoming a Research Astrophysicist, she finds herself constantly searching for opportunities that can help add to her knowledge on fields related to Astronomy. She is aware that it takes decades of hard work, perseverance, and dedication to fully comprehend and become proficient in the field that she wishes to work in. However, she strongly believes that she can exceed the expectations required of her under the guidance of senior coworkers. In terms of tutoring experience, she has assisted her previous Russian Professor with teaching students to improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. And with that being said, she believes that she can apply a similar technique with Mathematics to educate more students.
