Ryusei Taguchi

Ryusei Taguchi is an undergraduate at University of Maryland, College Park pursuing a degree in Human Development and a career in education. Before entering university, he served as a religious missionary in Europe for two years, where he led young adults through various community service and self development activities. As an Eagle Scout, he oversaw a troop of youth as they received character and leadership training. For 8 months, he worked as an intern at Collegiate Directions Inc. where he supported 1st generation and low-income students find success in their college application process and their academic journey. He also volunteered as a Sunday School teacher for his church and as a Teacher's Aide for AP World History at his high school. Through his experience, he fostered a passion for teaching and helping youth. Ryusei's goal is to help students grow academically and in character.
