Jordan Brown

Jordan Brown is a graduating senior at Georgetown University studying Sociology and African American Studies. Her humanities background has provided her with excellent reading and writing skills, while her focus on sociology has given her a strong foundation in statistics. She has been tutoring on and off since middle school. She began by tutoring elementary students in reading, later tutoring middle schoolers and early high schoolers in history and other social sciences. During her freshman year, she participated in Georgetown’s Center for Social Justice tutoring program, “DC Reads.” Her passion lies in working with each student to assess their individual needs to ensure they begin to grasp the concepts they have been grappling with. She is excited to grow with and support each child she tutors!
