Jillian Stabile

Jillian is a senior studying bioengineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. She has aspirations of working with biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals related to medicine. Jillian has covered extensive course work related to biology, mathematics, physics and chemistry. Along with STEM related classes, Jillian has also covered a wide variety of humanities courses. Her knowledge holistically has been put to the test through her various positions as a leader. This past fall, Jillian was a teaching assistant for a freshman-level course where she helped students acclimate into college. Her roles were to teach direct lessons, help students that were interested in STEM pick a major and also help students one on one with STEM related needs. Jillian is looking forward to working with more students and growing as a teacher throughout this experience.
