Madaisabel Arias

Mada is a 4th year student at George Mason University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in community health with a concentration in clinical science.  She started her college career tutoring for FCPS - Fairfax county public schools for both middle and high schools. She has taken extensive science courses that have helped her form better studying habits that she has shared with students, so that the tutoring isn’t limited to the time spent in the class. Even though her expertise lies more in science, she would help students with any subject that needed more attention. During which she learned that part of being a good tutor is having knowledge of a wide range of subjects. With the experience of both, different subjects and age groups, she has come adapt to many learning methods. She always acknowledging that every student learns in their own ways and as a tutor she facilitates that process with experiences she has had.
